English Diary Entry: January 2, 2025
Today was a delightful day, especially during our lunch break. I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious meal of stir-fried pork, also known as “je-yuk-bokkeum,” with my colleagues. We decided to visit a new Korean restaurant that recently opened nearby, which many of us had been eager to try after hearing great reviews
As we entered the restaurant, the rich and tantalizing aroma of various dishes welcomed us, instantly stirring our appetites. We settled at a large table, and the menu featured many tempting options, but we all agreed on ordering the stir-fried pork. It turned out to be an excellent choice!
When the dish arrived, it was beautifully presented, with vibrant colors and an irresistible scent. The pork was cooked to perfection, coated in a spicy yet flavorful sauce, accompanied by a generous serving of vegetables. Each bite was a wonderful explosion of taste! The tenderness of the pork and the crunchiness of the vegetables created a delightful texture. We also had a side of rice, which balanced out the spiciness perfectly
The best part of this meal was enjoying it in the company of my colleagues. We laughed and shared stories about our holiday experiences and discussed our goals for the new year. It felt great to bond over a delicious meal, strengthening our team spirit and camaraderie. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter, making the meal even more enjoyable
As we finished our lunch, we lingered a bit longer, savoring the moment and the lingering flavors of the meal. It reminded me of how important it is to take breaks and enjoy time with others, especially after busy mornings filled with work. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied, both from the amazing food and the wonderful interactions with my coworkers

오늘은 특히 점심 시간 동안 즐거운 날이었습니다. 저는 동료들과 함께 맛있는 제육볶음 한 끼를 즐겼습니다. 우리는 최근에 근처에 새로 생긴 한국 식당을 방문하기로 했고, 많은 사람들이 훌륭한 평가를 듣고 가고 싶어 했기 때문에 기대가 컸습니다

After our delightful lunch, we decided to extend our time together by heading to a nearby café for coffee. We each ordered our favorite coffees—some opting for rich espressos while others chose creamy lattes. The mood was relaxed and jovial, and we couldn’t help but share more stories and laughter, reliving some of our most memorable work moments
